Camp Computer Program

I worked on the computer program which will allow churches to register for summer camp on-line. A problem on the server caused it not to work but the fix is in and it will take a day for it to take effect. Tomorrow it should be working fine and people will be able to register on-line. It will save them a stamp and give them an extra week to get kids signed up. This picture was taken a couple of years ago on our way home from church camp. Janie and I had three boys riding in our truck back to Hillsboro and it got real quiet and we looked back to see them all piled on top of each other asleep. A whole week of getting them up at 6:00 am and putting them to bed at 10:30 pm catches up to them. I am looking forward to camp this year. Hiking and sleeping on the hard ground has helped me with church camp. At least at camp you have a mattress to sleep on and the room is air conditioned. The draw back is that by the second day the dorm room smells nothing like the great outdoors.
The kids were really good tonight at church. We only picked up 22 kids and there were three others which came on their own. They were well behaved on the way home and it was still daylight by the time we got back to the church. It is good to see the days getting longer.
Our Schwan's man was called back to active duty in the Air Force. His stand in is a lady whose name is Donna. She seems real nice. She says Lance will be back in six months. I was impressed that she said "have a blessed day" as she left. In the course of the next month I will find out if she is saved and if she attends church so stay tuned.
We are off to Henderson in the morning. I will work on the sermon for Sunday while Janie is with her parents at the doctor's office. Friday is prospectus day and then back to Hillsboro. God bless you.
